The services offered by Michgan4Energy arise out of New Deal Legislation limiting the availability of federal, state and local taxing authorities to impose certain surcharges, taxes and fees on utilities providing services to various industries.
WHAT WE DO
We have a comprehensive approach in reviewing client's historical gas, water and electric billings. Our services include analysis of utility bills to ensure that you are not being overcharged and process any exemptions in which you may be eligible for. We focus on working with the utility companies to uncover refund eligibility. We handle all the appropriate paperwork and contact the utility companies for any refunds or credits you qualify for. Our comprehensive audit services check for erroneous meter readings, incorrect applications of rates, pricing arrangement's, usage anomalies, duplicate bills and other administrative errors.
HOW TO START THE PROCESS
To start the process we will need a listing of all your business locations, recent billing statements for each electric, natural gas, water and sewer utility provider. We will then conduct an initial review and advise you of any billing errors, incorrect applications, usage anomalies, duplicate billings or cost recovery opportunities.
COST OF SERVICES
There is no obligation to receive this free review. We utilize a shared credit fee structure. If we do not find any savings of refund opportunities to implement: we do not receive any compensation. Our clients have found this arrangement appealing; paying for performance that produces bottom-line results means that there are no out of pocket expenses. Once the client receives the refund, our fee is 50% of the refunded amount. You will receive 50% of the refund for past overstatements and uncovered costs.
